Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett has appointed a new Executive Officer following the resignation of Paul Massingham in August.
Scott Rowe will start in the position on October 7.
Scott is currently Enterprise and Economic Development Manager with Fraser Coast Opportunities and previously held senior positions with regional newspaper companies.
Many South Burnett residents will remember Scott from his time as a journalist on the South Burnett Times during the 1990s.
“Scott is passionate about regional economic development of Wide Bay Burnett and recently participated in the preparation of the Wide Bay Burnett FIFO Workforce Development Capability Statement,” RDA WBB chairman Grant Maclean said.
