Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the Wide Bay Highway near Bells Bridge early this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate that around 12:25pm, a vehicle was travelling west on the highway when it left the road and hit a tree near the intersection of Percival Road.
The driver, a 31-year-old Chatsworth woman, was found dead the scene. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
