A 45-year-old Blackbutt man was transported to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries after a single vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway near Yarraman today.

A police spokesman said the man’s car left the highway and rolled near the Gilla Bridge this morning.

Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.

A Kingaroy man will face five charges of wilful damage after a string of shop windows were smashed in Kingaroy on Thursday night.

Acting Senior Sergeant Brad Johannesen, from Kingaroy Police, said windows were broken in Youngman, Kingaroy, Haly and Alford streets.

Police reviewed CCTV footage after the incidents.

A 56-year-old man has been charged with assault after an alleged incident at a Kingaroy hotel on Saturday night.

Police will allege the man assaulted a security staff member at the hotel after he was refused entry.

The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates’ Court on October 16.

A 19-year-old Kingaroy man was remanded in custody last Tuesday to reappear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 25 to face nine drugs charges, including two counts of supplying amphetamines.

Kumbia police have charged a 55-year-old Jandowae man with a high-level drink driving offence after a random breath test on the Bunya Highway last Wednesday.

Police will allege the man recorded a BAC of 0.221 – more than four times the legal limit.

Kumbia police have also charged a 54-year-old Pacific Haven man after police intercepted a vehicle on the Bunya Highway last Tuesday.

Police allegedly spotted a hunting knife and a baton inside the cabin.

The man has been issued with a notice to appear in court to face charges of possessing restricted items.
