A 21-year-old Caboolture South man appeared briefly in Nanango Magistrates Court today charged over the armed robbery of the Shell Service Station in Nanango on Monday night.
Timothy Somers faced one charge of armed robbery.
Police will allege Somers stole cash and cigarettes from the service station while armed with a knife.
Magistrate Simon Young remanded Somers in custody to re-appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday (September 22).
Police have also charged a 16-year-old Goomeri youth in relation to the same incident.
The youth has been charged with unlawful possession of stolen property and possession of a drug utensil.
He will appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court on October 3.
