Murgon musician Andrew Beckett’s dream of getting his old band back together will come true this week.
Andrew is the former frontman for ’90s band Tribal Link, which toured with Midnight Oil and supported Powder Finger, Spiderbait, Regurgitator and played at festivals such as the Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane’s Livid and Bondi Beach’s Survival.
Tribal Link performed on the same bill as Archie Roach, Yothu Yindi, Kev Carmody and Jenny Morris – and even had a track featured on an early Triple J Unearthed CD.
Tribal Link will be playing live at the Baralaba Showgrounds in central Queensland for the Woorabinda Warriors Age of Origin final next Saturday (September 20).
