Yarraman Swimming Pool will re-open for summer on Saturday, September 20.

Toowoomba Regional Council community development facilities portfolio leader Cr Ros Scotney said a number of improvements were made to all the Toowoomba region pools during the shutdown period, including a $485,000 upgrade to plant and facilities at the Crows Nest pool.

“The work undertaken at the Crows Nest pool now gives those with a disability access to the pool, with the installation of an entry ramp,” Cr Scotney said.

“Whether you are looking to get fit or simply cool off during the warmer months, our swimming pools are designed to meet the community’s needs as well as impress visitors to the area.”

Opening hours at the Yarraman Pool are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and 10:00am-4:00pm on weekends.

On public holidays, the pool centre is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm. It is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

According to Toowoomba Council, opening hours are often extended during summer, depending on the weather and the demand.
