The Kingaroy Lions Club is organising a special women’s health information night next week to be presented by leading Brisbane gynaecologist Dr Philip Hall.
The topic will be menopause.
Dr Hall is a visiting specialist at the South Burnett Community Hospital.
He grew up in a rural area and has a special interest in promoting the health of rural women.
A previous seminar by Dr Hall in Kingaroy on incontinence and prolapse was well received by more than 200 local women.
The new session will be held at the Kingaroy State High School Assembly Hall from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on September 15.
The session is free and tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served.
