An elderly horse rider has been airlifted to Nambour Hospital after he was found lying in a paddock at Hivesville this morning.
An RACQ CareFlight Rescue spokesman said the man had been working his property this morning when he fell from his horse, sustaining injuries to his left side.
The alarm was raised when he failed to return to the homestead.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue crew was tasked to the property just after 9:00am.
The man was airlifted in a stable condition.
