Three Model T Fords motored into Kingaroy today on the first leg of a 16,000km journey to help raise money for Angel Flight.
The 1917 centre door sedan and a 1923 and 1926 ute began their journey at Caboolture and will then travel via Longreach and Mt Isa to the Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and NSW back to Caboolture.
Accompanying them on the journey is a much more modern support vehicle, a Ford F150 truck.
The project is being overseen by the Lions Club of Morayfield.
The mini-convoy pulled into local Ford dealership, Huston Motors, who presented them with a cheque to kick off their fund-raising efforts.
Angel Flight provides non-emergency free flights for country people who have to travel long distances for medical appointments.
