A 72-year-old woman was lucky to escape serious injury when her 4WD – towing a caravan – overturned on the Kilkivan-Tansey Road at Cinnibar yesterday morning.

Police believe the incident occurred about 11:25am after the vehicle moved onto the dirt shoulder of the road as a vehicle was passing.

There was no one else in the vehicle.

About half an hour later, police were called to another single vehicle rollover in the Kilkivan area, this time on the Wide Bay Highway.

The 40-year-old female driver of a Hyundai sedan is believed to have broken her collarbone in this incident.

Police believe fatigue may have been a factor in this crash.
