South Burnett Little Athletics Club held its second sign-on morning for the upcoming season combined with a special coaching session in Kingaroy on Sunday morning.

The club, which meets in the grounds of Taabinga State School every Wednesday afternoon, caters for Under 6s through to U17s and covers a full range of events: discus, javelin, shotput, long jump, high jump, sprints and middle-distance running.

The young athletes have the opportunity to compete in local carnivals as well as regional events and State championships.

Children who missed today’s sign-on will have another opportunity at Kingaroy Shoppingworld next Saturday (September 6) from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
