Regional Development Australia (Wide Bay Burnett) is looking for a new CEO following the resignation of Paul Massingham.

Chairman Grant Maclean said Mr Massingham was leaving the organisation to take up a career opportunity in Brisbane.

“Paul as the inaugural Executive Officer has given RDA WBB and the region great service for over four years,” Mr Maclean said.

“As potential benefit to the region, he takes with him an excellent knowledge of the challenges and aspirations of Wide Bay Burnett and most importantly, our regional development opportunities.

“At today’s board meeting of RDA WBB, members expressed their gratitude to Paul for his drive and enthusiasm and in particular, his work towards establishing Wide Bay Burnett as a Mobile Workforce Hub for the resource sector which is expected to deliver significant benefits to the region.

“Applications for a replacement Executive Officer have been called and advertised online.”
