Fire completely destroyed an old wooden building on a farm on the Proston-Boondooma Road near Coverty this morning.

Rural and urban fire crews attended the blaze which was reported at 3:36am.

A QFES spokesman said the 15m x 6m building was fully engulfed in flames when the four crews arrived.

Firefighters contained the fire to the structure, stopping it from spreading into the nearby area.

A wall collapsed to ground level as the building burned.

The fire was contained at 4:54am and all firefighters left the scene at 5:45am.

No one was injured in the incident.
