The South Burnett Saints celebrated the last round of the AFL Darling Downs season with a thumping win today over Coolaroo in Toowoomba to secure the Minor Premiership.
The Saints again led at all changes, finishing 20.16 (136) to 8.7 (55)
Goal kickers for South Burnett were Adam Bowater (5), Brad Edwards (4), Jordan Pressnell (3), Ty Snow (3), Kyall Shepherd, Jack Day, Keiran Snow, Adam Branch and Paul Pressnell.
The win has lifted the Saints back into No 1 spot on the ladder and means they will host the Qualifying Final against University at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Sunday, August 31.
The winner of this game will go straight into the Grand Final which will be played on Sunday, September 14.
The loser will play the winner of the Elimination Final between Dalby and Highfields, which is scheduled to be played this Sunday in Toowoomba.
