Organisers of a new Bunya Mountains Markets are looking for quality stallholders – especially artisans who hand-make their wares – to take part in a monthly market day.
The planned Bunya Mountains Markets will run on the last Sunday of each month at Dandabah, beginning on Sunday, September 28
“We’re looking forward to welcoming people to the Mountains to show off their talents,” organiser Sue Unwin said.
“Everyone’s excited. Alan Goven will have the heavy horses out for rides on the day, Eleanor Kratzmann will have the General Store open and a Seafood Sunday happening in Lyrics Restaurant, and Poppies on the Hill Café will be having a barbecue on the deck and serving bunya nut delights and coffee.”
“But the real winners will be the visitors who get to visit this unique place.”
Profits from the new markets will go back into the Bunya Mountains Markets and local community for improvements.
Expressions of interest from potential stallholders close on Sunday, August 24.
