Geoffrey Aird … busy sorting books for this year’s Bookarama

July 27, 2014

Taabinga Rotary Club is once again looking for books – cook books, history books, novels … you name it, they want it!

The club is getting ready for its annual Bookarama which will be held at the Kingaroy Town Hall on September 13-14.

Club members are currently sorting and categorising donations, but they know they’ll need even more books than the thousands they already have.

There will be a a drop-off point at Kingaroy Shoppingworld – in the shop near Big W – from Monday for a week.

So it’s time to look in your library, under the bed or in the back of the wardrobe and have a cull.

Rotary, and the charities it supports, will love you for it!

(You can also drop off items for Taabinga Rotary’s drought appeal at the same location in Shoppingworld).
