Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Club held its changeover on Wednesday night but it was a triple celebration for the club, also marking the 10th anniversary of it being chartered in June 2004 and the induction of three new members.

District Governor Delwyn Hallett presented new members Don McNally, Liz Hollens-Riley and Judy McNall with their badges.

Special guests were Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington and former Member Dorothy Pratt, who was the local MP at the time the club was chartered.

Several of the original charter members were present, including the incoming club president for 2014-15 Ivan Panzram.
