People interested in working at the new Across Country motel in Kingaroy have been invited to contact a local employment agency.

Across Country Motels managing director Seth Peady said today Employment Services Queensland (ESQ) in Kingaroy had been appointed to handle job applications for the project.

Mr Peady said about 30 people would be hired, including both full-time and casual positions.

He said the roles to be filled included housekeepers / cleaners, restaurant staff, bar staff, a marketing and functions manager, restaurant manager, chefs and apprentices, and reception staff.

Mr Peady said the development was still on track for an October opening.

He said concrete pours would expected to begin at the site, located on Walter Road, within two weeks.
