On Sunday the South Burnett Stingers junior representative teams went to Gatton to compete in the South West Queensland Zone Championships.
Although both teams experienced losses in their games, they played well in the heat, turning in some good football despite the fact they only had nine or 10 players each for their games.
Unfortunately, some of the team members pulled out at at the last minute on Sunday morning.
The Stingers won’t give up, though, and will regroup, train and come back at the next round.
Results:
U12/13:
- 4-2 loss to Western Downs Power
- 9-1 loss to Warwick
U14/15:
- 4-3 loss to Toowoomba North
- 5-0 loss to Western Downs Power
