Yarraman news:

Yarraman has a new A Grade champion: Neil Johnson.

The final of the Men’s A Grade Singles was played on Wednesday, and Neil Johnson defeated Brian Dugdell 25-15.

Neil has been bowling for many years, but the win was his first A Grade singles trophy.

Johnson got a new set of bowls a few months ago and he has been steaming in recent matches.

It was a close game for the first half and at one stage he led only 16-15.

But after that it was “Good Night Nurse” – Johnson won the next eight ends and took the title 25-15.
