South Burnett and Dalby are ready to rumble against one another, as the country rivals go head to head at Lyle Vidler Oval tomorrow from 2:30pm.
The Saints have started the season on the right foot, marching to a 3-1-1 record thus far in season 2014.
Coming off two impressive wins over South Toowoomba and Chinchilla, the Saints are ready for the youthful and hard running Swannies outfit.
Last time these two sides met was back in Round 11 last season where the Swans ran away with an impressive but hard fought 18-point victory.
The Milford brothers kicked seven between them and young gun Brandon Peltz ran riot through the midfielder.
Fast forward nearly 12 months and the Swans have lost the forward power in the Milfords and look to Ben Banks inside the forward 50 now.
Peltz continues to be an important player through the midfielder as is Mike Gaur for the Swannies.
For South Burnett, Adam Bowater and Ty Snow have been the generals and the go-to players when games have got tough, with both players stepping up to the responsibility.
The key to the Saints’ season has been their ability to spread the load when kicking at goal, with 16 of their playing list of 32 registering a goal or more this year.
This game will go down to which side can best utilise the corridor and take the game on.
South Burnett win and they will stay in the top four for another week, Dalby win and they keep their slim finals hopes alive.
