Esk photographer Neville Wright won the $1000 “Best In Show” prize at the recent Brisbane Valley Heritage Trails photographic competition.

Neville’s photo of the old Anglican manse at Esk attracted the eye of the judge, Nanango professional photographer Clive Lowe, who said it was “beautifully composed, beautifully exposed”.

The competition was run as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival and had a theme “Journeys Through The Brisbane River Valley”.

It featured photographs shot in towns and other locations along the Brisbane Valley Heritage Trail.

The exhibition was officially opened on Friday night at Moore Hall, in Moore.

The public have the opportunity of viewing all the entries this weekend (May 10-11) at the hall.
