Women’s rugby league is coming to Kingaroy on Friday night with teams from Kingaroy, Beerwah, Noosa/Palmwoods, Caboolture, Nambour and Beachmere taking part in a round robin competition at T.J. O’Neill Oval.
The U14s and U17s matches are part of a development competition aimed at giving keen female rugby league players a pathway to continue their sport after they are no longer eligible to play in the junior competition.
The 20-minute matches will give selectors an opportunity to see the girls in action and select a Sunshine Coast U16 representative team.
