Tipperary Flats in Nanango will be a hive of activity of Sunday, May 18 when the Nanango and District Camera Club holds its popular annual Portrait Workshop.
The workshop is designed to give photographers practical tips on how to shoot portraits in all types of lighting and weather conditions using digital cameras.
Last year 20 keen photographers took part, and this year the club hopes more locals will take up the opportunity to learn from experts in the craft.
The workshop will be led by Gerard Saide from the Photographic Society of Queensland, assisted by fellow PSQA member (and former PSQA president) Graham Burstow.
Several models will also be available on the day for use as portrait subjects.
The workshop will get underway at Tipperary Flats at 1:00pm, and the cost is $10 for Nanango Camera Club members and $15 for non-members.
More details can be obtained from the camera club’s Secretary Keren Mcsweeney on (07) 4163-7210; by emailing her; or on the Nanango and District Camera Club’s website
