A public meeting will be held at the Wondai Regional Art Gallery from 6:00pm this evening to discuss the future of the Wondai Chamber Of Commerce, which went into mothballs last month.
The Chamber has played a key role in the Wondai community for many years but in recent times has faced dwindling attendances and difficulty sourcing people to volunteer for executive positions.
Tonight’s meeting, which will be chaired by South Burnett mayor Wayne Kratzmann, will look at possible options for the future, including expanding the Chamber’s membership beyond businesses.
All interested people have been invited to attend and light refreshments will be served.
