Apparently some of our local politicians haven’t learned a thing … despite being locked up last year, they’re being hauled off again tomorrow to do time in “prison”.
The annual PCYC fundraiser “Time4Kids” will see five high-profile South Burnett locals going behind “bars” at Kingaroy Shoppingworld.
They’ll be begging from their prison cell to raise the “bail” to get out …
Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington and cellmate Deputy Mayor Keith Campbell will be locked up from 9:00am-10:00am.
CROW-FM breakfast announcer Corky will join Murgon Mustangs club president Rick Collard behind bars from 10:00am-11:00am.
Cr Ros Heit – a council newbie in jail – will be locked up from 11:00am-noon.
Donations can also be online at the Everyday Hero website
Money raised will go to the South Burnett PCYC to help them provide activities for local youth.
