The Rotary Club of Kingaroy is very pleased to announce that the Pride of Workmanship Award for March was made to Shannon and Megan Scott of Taste South Burnett for their excellent commitment to developing tourism in the South Burnett.
“With their passion for food and wine, coupled with their enthusiasm and desire to show off our great region, they … showcase the very best in local and regional produce. We believe they show great pride in doing this job well,” club president Damien Tessmann said.
Rotary is promoting Pride of Workmanship to local businesses through the theme of “Do It Once – Do It Well” to help employees and business owners achieve the goal of job satisfaction.
The club looks forward to nominations of those who have demonstrated the highest standards and work ethics.
For the month of April, the Club is calling for nominations for an award for an excellent worker in Hospitality.
Do you have a favourite chef, wait person, motel staff member, or business owner you could nominate?
“This is an opportunity for employers and customers to publicly recognize workers worthy of an award and to help raise awareness of the importance of all jobs being done well,” Mr Tessmann said.
Please email your nominations to club vocational director Val Hooper by the end of the month.
