So far during March, Kingaroy police have breath-tested more than 1000 drivers on local roads.
Nine drink-drivers have been charged as well as nine drug-drivers.
Snr Sgt Frank said drink drivers had been detected in the early hours of the morning, at lunchtime and in the mid-afternoon.
“This justifies why police are doing random breath tests anywhere at any time,” he said.
“There is zero tolerance to this type of behaviour.”
