A workshop to assist local businesses learn more about tendering for government contracts will be held in Kingaroy later this month.
The “Tendering For Government Business Workshop” aims to maximise suppliers’ chances of winning government work, but the skills learned are also applicable for applying for tenders in the private sector.
The workshop will consist of a 4.5 hour interactive session.
Participants will learn
- The principles behind government procurement policies and processes,
- How to effectively respond to offer and tender documents,
- Where to look for current and upcoming tendering opportunities, and
- How to conduct market research to maximise the chances of success.
The workshop will be held from 8:00am on Thursday, March 27, at the Bjelke-Petersen Research Station, opposite Kingaroy Airport (the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry).
Cost is $50 and pre-payment is required.
