Regional Development Australia (Wide Bay Burnett) will be hosting a “State of the Region” Conference in Hervey Bay next month.
The event aims to gain a community perspective on regional opportunities and initiatives and how to measure the success of the region’s growth and prosperity.
Results of the conference will be used to help inform regional planning and advise all levels of government on priority investment to drive social and economic growth.
The conference will be held from 7:45am on April 10 at the Hervey Bay RSL, 11 Torquay Road, Hervey Bay.
Cost is $95 per person which includes morning tea, lunch and a conference pack.
The keynote speaker will be Deputy Prime Minister and Member for Wide Bay Warren Truss.
