Entries are now open for the seventh annual Queensland Indigenous Golf Championship to be played at Murgon Golf Course next month.

The 54-hole, three-day stroke event is open to both male and female indigenous amateur golfers from anywhere in Australia and is being run under the auspices of Golf Queensland.

It attracts entrants from all over the State and is a key event on Murgon’s annual sporting calendar.

The championship will be played between March 21 and March 23.

In addition to the main competitions there’ll also be A, B and C Grade nett divisions, a Junior competition and a Senior competition for over-55s.

18 holes will be played on each of the three days, commencing at 8:30am.

Trophies will be presented on Sunday, March 23, at the conclusion of play.
