Award-winning chef Jimmy Stephen … bringing something new to Wine and Food in the Park

Dinner Under The StarsFebruary 13, 2014

Award-winning chef Jimmy Stephen is bringing something different to this year’s Wine and Food in the Park Festival in Kingaroy … a Dinner Under The Stars.

The formal dinner will be held on the Friday night of the festival weekend (March 7)  in Memorial Park.

“The idea is to put a focus back on ‘food’ in the festival,” organising committee member Darren Schmidt said.

“It will be a ‘formal’ event so diners can have the opportunity to dress up and have a good time.”

Jimmy Stephen is well-known from his former Accents Restaurant in Kingaroy which won the “Café Restaurant” category for south-east Queensland at the 2011 Savour Australia Awards for Excellence, competing against restaurants from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, the Darling Downs and Gold Coast.

These days Jimmy’s kept busy with his Accents catering business.

The Dinner Under The Stars will feature a four-course dinner which can be enjoyed with South Burnett wines.

There will also be live music to help build the atmosphere.

Cost is $75 a ticket and all tickets must be pre-booked.
