The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s first Meet’n’Greet for 2014 will be hosted by Sunshine Mitre 10 on February 3.
Guest speakers will be Colin Graham, from Causeway Innovation, and South Burnett Deputy Mayor Keith Campbell who will provide an update on council’s activities.
Mr Graham’s presentation will discuss how changes can present opportunities for business. He will provide examples of regionally based businesses who have been taking innovative approaches to succeed in international markets.
He has worked with more than 100 start-ups and small businesses and 50 of the world’s leading companies such as Rolls-Royce, IBM, Marriott, Unilever and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
His principal interest these days is in developing innovative businesses and regions and he is currently managing a trial project for the Wide Bay Burnett region focused on rural innovation.
The Meet’n’Greet will get underway at 5:15pm and cost is $10.
