Nanango Police have confirmed this morning that missing Nanango man Robert Fingland has been located safe and well at Tweed Heads.
Mr Fingland, 77, was found sitting on the side of the M1 Motorway yesterday after a passer-by recognised his red Mitsubishi Outlander and remembered seeing reports about his disappearance.
Police said Mr Fingland was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital suffering from mild dehydration.
His family are travelling to Tweed Heads today to pick him up.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Mr Fingland.
