Proston Showground was looking festive on Saturday night for the annual Proston & District Lions Club Christmas Carnival.

As local residents and visitors milled about, members of local service club members were making sure everyone was well looked after.

In the kitchen, Show Society members and Proston CWA members were cooking and assembling burgers.

Other volunteers were keeping the ham wheel spinning and selling tickets for the chair-o-plane rides.

At the licensed bar, Proston Lions members were keeping their customers satisfied.
