Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery last night at the McDonald’s Family Restaurant in Haly St, Kingaroy.
About 9:50pm a man ran into the Kingaroy restaurant holding a large knife and demanded cash at the service counter.
The staff member fled into the kitchen and the man fled empty handed.
Police are seeking public assistance to identify the man, described as caucasian and 188cm tall.
