Motorists have been warned to take care on the Wide Bay Highway east of Goomeri with smoke still in the area following fires earlier today.
Earlier today a bushfire burning in the Cinnibar area jumped the highway.
The fire, in the vicinity of Mount Olive Road, broke out about 3:30pm.
The Queensland Fire Service has asked motorists to slow down and be aware firefighters may still be in the area.
