Police are asking anyone who has information about the theft of diesel fuel at the weekend to contact Crime Stoppers.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said a considerable amount of fuel was stolen from a council roadworks roller parked in the Corndale area.

A window was also smashed on the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800-333-000.

On Sunday morning, police executed a drug search warrant on a house in Oliver Road, Nanango.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils after police allegedly located a small amount of cannabis.

He has been issued with a notice to appear in court.

Police attending to another matter conducted an emergency search last Tuesday after smelling burning cannabis in a house in Haly Street, Kingaroy.

They allegedly located drugs and drug utensils.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with obstructing police and drug-related offences.

Police will allege he was not compliant during the search.

Last Wednesday, Kingaroy Police were called to Shoppingworld after a 28-year-old woman was allegedly caught shoplifting items worth $50 from Big W.

The following day, police arrested the same woman at Nanango after further investigations and charged her with stealing in relation to items allegedly taken from SupaIGA in Kingaroy.

She has been charged with stealing and will appear in court later this month.

A 7:30pm on Friday night, police attended a two-vehicle crash on Tessmann’s Road at Kingaroy. An ambulance attended the scene but it is believed no one was seriously injured. Police investigations are continuing.

At 1:30am on Saturday morning, police intercepted a P-Plate driver on Bridgeman Parade, Kingaroy, for an RBT. He allegedly recorded a BAC of 0.05 (the requirement is nil alcohol).

He has also been charged with driving in breach of a late night driving restriction, and with unlicensed driving.
