Kingaroy and Wide Bay batsman Anthony Eden has been selected in the Queensland Country squad which will play at the Australian Country Cricket Championships in Canberra next month.
There are eight newcomers in the Brahmans squad for the championships, which will be held from January 7-14.
The team will be captained by Todd Schloss (Townsville).
Eden earned his placed after his massive double century for Wide Bay last month against Darling Downs and South-West Country in the Schaefer Shield.
