A 16-year-old girl kept Kingaroy Police busy last Wednesday after being allegedly involved in two separate incidents.
At 2:30pm, police spoke to her at a Kingaroy residence in regards to an earlier assault occasioning bodily harm.
She was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Just two hours later, police were called to a disturbance in Pound Street involving a group of youths.
Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said the officers spoke to the same girl in relation to an allegation of theft from the nearby Dollars & Sense store.
Snr Sgt Frank said police took her into custody after she became aggressive.
Police will allege they had to physically restrain her, and that during the arrest she attempted to bite one of the officers.
She also allegedly kicked another police officer and damaged a door in the police watchhouse.
She has been charged with public nuisance, possessing tainted property, two counts of assaulting police and wilful damage.
A 17-year-old Nanango man was issued with a notice to appear on a charge of shop stealing.

At 11:30pm on Friday night, police were called to a disturbance in Glendon Street. They located an intoxicated, aggressive 22-year-old man and issued him with an infringement notice for being a public nuisance.
At 1:00am on Sunday morning, Kingaroy police were called to another disturbance in Glendon Street.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged for contravening a police direction. Earlier in the evening, police had ordered her to leave the area after she had been evicted from a hotel.
Also on Sunday morning, a 15-year-old youth was arrested at a Kingaroy residence after allegedly failing to comply with the curfew conditions of his bail.
