Motorists failing to give way at intersections caused two separate motor vehicle accidents in Kingaroy on Friday.
Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, said police were called to a two-vehicle crash on the corner of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road and Industrial Avenue in Kingaroy at 10:30am.
A driver of one of the vehicles was issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way.
One of the vehicles was badly damaged and required towing.
An hour later, Kingaroy police were called to another smash involving two vehicles, this time on the corner of Moonya and Fitzroy streets.
Again one of the drivers was issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way.
Fortunately there were no injuries in either incident.
