Police who raided two houses in Boardman Road at Hodgeleigh last week allegedly located a drug lab and a quantity of methamphetamine and cannabis.

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, officer-in-charge at Kingaroy Police, said at the first house, a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and other paraphenalia.

Police allegedly located a quantity of methamphetamine and cannabis on the premises.

The Illicit Laboratory Investigation Team was called in to dismantle an alleged drug lab .

“Police will be alleging that drugs were being produced at the residence in powder form,” Snr Sgt Frank said.

At a nearby house, police executed another search warrant.

Police allegedly located more than 50 marijuana plants, some up to half a metre tall.

A 54-year-old man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and producing dangerous drugs.

The two men are known to each other.

Police were called to attend a disturbance at a residence in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, at 8:30am on Friday. Police allege an intoxicated man had ripped the front door off the premises. He was arrested and charged with wilful damage.

A driver who was pulled over for a random breath test at 2:00am on Sunday in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, allegedly blew .101 BAC. The 25-year-old Brisbane man has been issued with a notice to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.

At 1:30pm on Saturday,  Kingaroy Police located a 17-year-old man in Alford Street, Kingaroy. Checks revealed he was wanted in regards to failing to attend a drug diversion program.  He has been charged with contravening a requirement.

At 2:00pm on Saturday,  police attended a residence in Rosedale Street, Kingaroy, and arrested a man for failing to comply with a requirement that he attend a police station for fingerprinting.
