The Kingaroy Lions Club will be presenting a Women’s Health Seminar, featuring leading Brisbane gynaecologist Dr Philip Hall, in Kingaroy next week.
The information evening will be held at Kingaroy State High School Hall on Wednesday, November 13.
Dr Hall, who is a visiting specialist at the South Burnett Community Hospital, grew up in a rural area and has a special interest in promoting the health of rural women.
The information session is designed to help all women, regardless of age, to understand common health issues and to know what treatment options are available so they can make informed decisions about their health care.
Topics to be covered include incontinence, prolapse and menopause.
The session will be held from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be served.
