It’s the first Tuesday in November so it must be … the Kumbia Races!
The Kumbia Race Club will be holding its popular Melbourne Cup race meeting today.
It’s a five-race meeting with the first race scheduled to jump at at 12:30pm.
The feature race, the Huston Ford Kumbia Cup, will be run at 4:00pm.
As well a big Fashions of the Field competition, there’ll be full TV coverage of the races from Flemington, including the Melbourne Cup which will be run at 2:00pm (Queensland time).
On-course bookies will be taking bets on both the local and interstate races.
Buses will be running from Kingaroy and Nanango to help punters enjoy the day without the hassle of driving.
