Road works beginning this week on Scott and Hathaway streets in Benarkin are expected to take about five weeks, weather permitting.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesman said as work progressed there would be a need to close parts of the two streets,
“Detours will be in place during these periods as required,” the spokesman said.
“During road works vehicle access to properties fronting Scott and Hathaway streets maybe restricted and any affected residents will be notified daily.
“If you have any questions in regard to property access, please raise them with onsite staff.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that this work may cause, and thank you in advance for your patience.
