Planning has begun for the 2013 Community Christmas Lunch which will be held in Kingaroy on Christmas Day.
The Salvation Army and various Kingaroy community groups are working together again this year to host the special festive lunch which is expected to attract more than 100 local residents on Christmas Day.
South Burnett CTC and a small group of volunteers will be helping to make the day a reality.
Organisers are looking for offers of assistance as well as volunteers who can be rostered to help out on the day.
The lunch – which will feature all the traditional Christmas trimmings – will be free but participants will be asked to make a small donation if they feel able to assist.
