South Burnett and Cherbourg On ShowOctober 7, 2013

The Austackle 2013 BP Dam Inland Family Fishing Classic featured as part of the South Burnett and Cherbourg On Show weekend.

Yallakool Park managers Peter and Shona Divljak said the weekend was a huge success with 316 participants registering for the competition.

The fishing competition is always huge but this year there were also some special attractions, including the “Murris Making Music” concert under the stars on Saturday night, and the “Lunch By The Lake” with Aboriginal chef Dale Chapman on Sunday which featured fish caught from the dam and roasted kangaroo tails.
