Nanango’s historic Ringsfield House will be holding a special Sunday Roast Beef Lunch during this year’s South Burnett-Cherbourg On Show long weekend – on a Sunday, naturally.
The luncheon is being run by the Nanango Historical Society, who care for this wonderfully restored 1908 Queenslander developed by renowned Queensland architect Robin Dods.
Guests will be able to bask in Ringsfield’s magnificent turn-of-the-century architecture, take a free tour of the building and its extensive historical collection or stroll through its beautiful gardens (which were designed in 1993 by landscape architect Jeremy Ferrier).
The lunch will start at 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 6 and will offer a traditional Sunday roast backed up by a choice of two desserts plus tea or coffee.
And if you want to enjoy a South Burnett wine with your meal, Ringsfield House are also a cellar door for Coolabunia’s Bellbird Vineyards and stock the full range of Bellbird whites, reds and roses.
Tickets to the lunch are a $20 per head for adults or $10 per head for children aged 8 to 16 (under-8s are free).
However, seating is limited and last year’s Sunday Roast Lunch was a sell-out.
So if you want to come along you’ll need to book no later than Wednesday 2nd October.
Bookings can be made by phoning Ringsfield House on (07) 4163-3345 between 10:00am and 2:00pm Mondays to Fridays, or by emailing them.
