The Kingaroy Red Ants brought home two Grand Final trophies following a big day of South Burnett junior rugby league in Gayndah on Saturday.

In the U12s, Kingaroy 40 defeated Cherbourg 18. Player of the Match was Jaycob Brazier (Kingaroy).

In the U14s, Kingaroy 26 defeated Cherbourg 22 in a close tussle, scoring after the full-time siren to secure the win. Player of the Match was Connor Coutts (Kingaroy).

In the U16s, the Central Burnett Brumbies proved too strong for Nanango, defeating the Stags 20-12. Player of the match was the Brumbies’ Bailey Linsket.

  • Reece Plumbing Most Improved Player – Dexter Calvert (Nanango)
  • South Burnett Encouragement award – Arthur Bond (Cherbourg)
  • Senior Eagle – Jye Hopkins (Kingaroy)
  • Club Champions – Cherbourg
  • Delegate of Year – Rob Linsket (Central Burnett)
