Rural sales agent John Allery, from Raine & Horne in Kingaroy, has been honoured in a national real estate sales competition.
John was presented with a trophy last week at a function on the Gold Coast for being the runner-up in Raine & Horne rural office sales, based on the value of commissions of settled sales.
He achieved a greater dollar value than agencies throughout NSW, Victoria, the Northern Territory and Tasmania during the last financial year.
This is the first time that he can recall that the agency has won a trophy in the national awards.
John said he had done well because many of his sales were “lifestyle” blocks but this was also an indication of the state of the Australian property market.
The winner of the national trophy was an agency at Ayr.
Raine & Horne, Kingaroy have enjoyed success at the State level over the past couple of years.
Earlier this year, John won the Queensland award in the same category for the calendar year 2012-13.
